Garlic Day in Falces

As humble as it is essential, the town of Falces pays a festive tribute to its star product.

The relationship between this town in Navarre’s La Ribera region and garlic dates back to the 17th century when the locals, tired of paying tithes for their crops to the Marquis and the church, decided to start growing garlic which, being a new product, was not subject to payment, making Falces one of the most important garlic-producing localities in the country.

Come and enjoy a different kind of festival, a great opportunity to learn, taste and buy garlic straight from local producers at the fair. You can also take part in guided tours and other activities organised for the occasion.

So now you know, if you like gastronomy and being where the action is, come to Falces.
