Guided tour of the Roman City of Andelos

When Pompaleo (Pamplona) was founded in the 2nd century B.C., the existence of Andelos was already documented. This Roman town, located at a major crossroads between the present-day places of Jaca, Logroño and Pamplona, enjoyed its heyday in the 1st and 2nd centuries A.C.

Our 1-hour guided tour of this Roman town will help you to identify the most important streets, districts, houses and public buildings. You will also be able to locate the vestiges of a great water supply system that comprised the intake of water right up to the distribution centre in the town. You will learn about how it worked and how it supplied Andelos when it had 2,500 inhabitants. A journey back in time that is not to be missed!
