Navarre Wine Harvest Festival

At the end of August or beginning of September, the Brotherhood of Navarre Wine organises a busy programme of activities in Olite to praise and publicise wines with the Designation of Origin Navarra. There are thematic contests, and gastronomic days are held where pintxos and dishes related to wine are on offer. Sunday begins with the parade of the brothers in all their finery and the opening address of the Harvest. Grape-treading is one of the most photographed moments.
