Visit a Kaiku workshop

You may possibly have heard the word Kaiku, but do you know its origin? Well, it's a wooden container which was used for centuries by the shepherds of the Baztan Valley to milk their sheep and serve the Cuajada or junket.

If you'd like to learn how this and other pastoral utensils are made, at Erratzu you'll find a small workshop where the craftsman himself, and livestock farmer by profession, will give you all the details about this more than two-thousand-year-old craft.

A real way to discover the Baztan Valley.
