Visit La Oliva Monastery

La Oliva, one of the three remaining monasteries in south Navarra, is the current abode of a group of Cistercian monks who you can see dressed in white tunics and walking and praying in the cloister. The vast church, Gothic cloister, chapterhouse and San Jesucristo Chapel reveal the artistic importance of this monastery, built in the 12th and 13th centuries. Here, it's easy to spend your time in peaceful and constant mediation.
