Larraga, the Land of the Fighting Cow

Larraga is well-known for its age-old tradition of raising fighting cattle. In fact, one of the bull breeding ranches with the greatest prestige in Navarre is located in its municipality. Cows in the bullring, running with young bulls, transhumance, bullfighting show, cows set loose in the square, are the events relating to the bullfighting world and that you can enjoy in the village. What's more, the programme is rounded off with entertaining and cultural activities such as Dianas (early morning reveille), street entertainment, traditional market, guided tour of the town, concert and Ronda Jotera (traditional regional songs and music around the town). Everything is ready for the enjoyment of visitors to the town.
