Guided tour of Amaiur mill and talo tasting

Want to learn up-close about the culture and traditions of the Baztan valley? Don’t miss the chance to live a unique experience with a guided tour of the Amaiur mill and the old cider press.

A journey back in time which will transport you to when flour was the gold of the valley at a mill which still works to offer organic cornmeal and then immerse yourself in the aromas and production and storage process of natural cider.

The tour also includes a talo workshop for the kids and a tasting for the grown-ups. Talos are the corn flatbread which was typically eaten in farmhouses (caseríos) in the past and which you can still try today in the area, especially at fairs and markets, filled with txistorra sausage, chocolate, bacon or cheese... mmmm, they’re yummy!
