This appetising event is designed to celebrate Navarre’s pintxo culture. Numerous bars take part every year in this special week held in various Navarrese towns and villages although nowhere more than in the capital, Pamplona.
You’ll be surprised by the dainty, imaginative recipes that compete to get one of the awards — gold, silver and bronze — handed out by the jury, endorsing their quality and design. Other thematic awards also recognise pintxos using particular Navarrese products like asparagus, artichoke or veal. And all paired with the finest local wines.
Haute cuisine and Navarrese gastronomy come together once again in miniature format.
