Basajaun, “the lord of the woods”, guides you along ancient tracks used since time immemorial by shepherds and all kinds of merchants, winding through majestic beech and oak forests.

This fascinating route begins in Jauntsarats and takes you through the Basaburua district via a number of its enchanting villages, such as Udabe, Erbiti or Aizarotz. The route invites you to immerse yourself in a lush natural area dotted with traditional Basque farmhouses and known for its great food.
