Located in the Sierra de Aralar special area of conservation, this part of Navarre features large oak trees with fanciful shapes. The trial is part of the Botanical route.

The route begins next to the Etxarri Aranatz campsite and coincides in some sections with the PR-NA 133 Dolmen route and the GR-323 Bernoa road. For the first 900 metres, it follows a forest track to a signpost, which sends you to the right along a forest path. The trail then enters the forest, allowing visitors to admire magnificent oak trees with surprising shapes, all very well conserved. You can identify a wide variety of trees and shrubs thanks to the
information panels installed along the way: oak, beech, maples and crab-apple trees, hawthorn, holly, alder buckthorn, rose and butcher’s broom bushes, heathers, etc.

The route is wide and easy to walk but can get muddy when it rains.
