Discover the secrets of artisanal Navarrese cheesemaking and immerse yourself in a world where people and nature have lived in harmony since times immemorial.
In this unique experience, you'll discover the tradition of Latxa sheep farming amid fertile valleys and views of the Las Malloas ridge. You'll visit the cheesemaker’s and the farm, and learn first-hand about how cheeses like Idiazabal Protected Designation of Origin cheese are made. Depending on the season, you can walk with our lambs in the meadow and learn how to milk them by hand.
At the end of the visit, you get to enjoy some of the gems of our gastronomy with a tasting of four cheese varieties, accompanied by artisanal bread baked in a traditional oven and a glass of Navarra wine.
