Chapel de Zuberoa

The Chapel of Nuestra Señora de Zuberoa, surrounded by woodland, stands out for its size and magnificent Baroque reredos.

This circular route begins with a zigzagging climb and enters a lush European red pine and boxwood forest to Mariañe hill (1,036 m), from which there
are magnificent views. The trail then joins a forest track that veers to the right and descends through boxwood and European red pine. After that, it joins another section of forest track that leads to the Chapel of Nuestra Señora de Zuberoa, located on the mountainside and with a great panoramic view of the surrounding area.

The path descends gently to a field with a livestock shed, now in ruins, before entering the forest again. The last stretch  is a steep, winding descent down to the NA-176 road. Walk the last kilometre along the road to complete the route.
