A trail suitable for children through the woods with two pedunculate oak trees declared “Monumental trees of Navarre” for their uniqueness and value.

The route begins at the school in Jauntsarats on the outskirts of the village on the Ultzama valley side. Near the information panel, there is a turn-off to the first centuries-old oak, called “Kisulabe”, a name that refers to the old lime kiln where limestone was calcined. With a diameter of over 10 metres, it’s the broadest oak tree in Navarre. The trail continues to Jauntsarats and crosses the Baragon brook over a small wooden bridge. After passing the
road and several fields, you reach the second large oak, “Beheitikolanda”.

The trail continues through the oak trees near the Basaburua river. After crossing a brook, and proceeding parallel to it among magnificent oak trees, you reach the road, a stretch of which has an unprotected shoulder, to get back to the start of the route.
