Jasule trail

This mountain trail ascends through the Jasule forest and Xoxo ravine, winding through pines, beeches and firs, passing the Kiñubizkarra fields, the Ezcároz viewpoint with its breathtaking views and the Axarixiola cave before returning to Ezcároz.

It’s a circular route that begins next to the church in Ezcároz and follows a track towards the cemetery. A left turn leads to the Jasule waterfalls, with a stepped section joining a track that leads to the Xoxo ravine through a mixed forest of pine, beech and boxwood.

The trail then continues towards the meadows around the Udi livestock shed, offering splendid panoramic views of Sierra de Abodi, and proceeds with
minimal elevation gain along the slopes of Kiñubizkarra to the Ezcároz viewpoint, which features an illustrated panoramic  panel. The path descends to the Axarixiloa cave and, after widening, returns to the starting point in Ezcároz.
