Murmurs of the Esca

The trail runs along the Esca river, amidst the murmur of the water and the tranquillity of the surrounding area. You also get to see the Mausoleum of Gayarre.

The route begins at the Roncal cemetery, where the famous Mausoleum of Julián Gayarre is located, and continues parallel to the Esca river.
Near the hydroelectric weir, leave the main track and follow a path to the end of the route, passing by the Roncal water treatment plant.

After crossing the Anzka ravine via an old bridge, ascend through the pine forest to reach the end of the route, which can be walked in either direction.
Finally, return to Roncal by retracing your steps, once again enjoying the scenery and the tranquillity of the surroundings.
