A fascinating circuit that runs along the Alhama river valley and takes in the unique Roscas massif, formed by conglomerates that sculpt surprising and original shapes (screw threads) in the landscape.

This route begins at the crossroads between Fitero, Cascante and Valverde. Take the road towards Valverde, heading towards the banks of the Alhama river.
Along the way, you pass near the famous cave of “La mora”, the setting for a legend by Bécquer, and one of the best-preserved ice houses in Navarre.

As you climb, you see a hill where the ruins of the Moorish castle of Tudején stand and reach a saddle from which you can admire the peculiar conglomerate rock formations known as Las Roscas. Finally, the descent through the Blancares ravine leads back to the road.
