Ruta Senderista
Distance 13.7 km

Elevation gain 319.0 m
Route type Circular

This trail offers a spectacular view of the mountains south of the Ebro river. From its the highest point, you can see the Roscas massif in Fitero, Mount
Moncayo and the confluence of Navarre, Aragon and La Rioja. In the lower areas, there are vineyards, olive groves and almond orchards; higher up, pastures and reforested pine forests.

The route begins in Fitero, at the start of the NA-6991 road, next to a Tourist information point, recreation area and information panel. The trail ascends through crop fields, keeping the Roscas massif to the right, until you reach a fork in the path: straight ahead, the PR-208 follows a flatter route, while to the right, the PR-NA 2028.2 climbs along a ridge to a pine forest. After passing a descent on the right (an alternative return route), the trail skirts the
summit and then continues uphill. There’s an information panel, the remains of an observatory and piles of stones.

The descent follows a forest track and passes through a pine forest before reaching the ridge that goes down to Fitero, offering sweeping views of the Ribera region. The route ends after a flat stretch through crop fields that leads to the NA-6900 road.
