This explores La Estanca de Corella, a naturalised reservoir used for irrigation, surrounded by dense woodland and riverbanks teeming with a great variety
of passerine birds. It forms part of the “Health and cultural route along the Alhama river”, a cycling route between Corella, Cintruénigo and Fitero.

The route begins in Corella, next to the town hall, where there’s a bicycle parking area and Tourist information point. Leaving the old town, you reach the entrance to the cemetery, where there’s an information panel about the Estanca trail. Cross the NA-6810 road to reach La Estanca, an artificial lake
surrounded by a shaded pedestrian path, home to a bird observatory, recreational area and exercise circuit.

The way back follows the same path, but before crossing the NA-6810 road, turn towards the Alhama river and follow the riverbank through allotments until you reach the Corella cross. Finally, climb Avenida Miguel Escudero.
