The sound of the Ubagua river accompanies this beautiful trail that connects Riezu, in the Yerri valley, with Lezáun. Suitable for everyone, it crosses a short
Tibetan bridge and leads to the source of the Ubagua river, from which the ascent continues. A place of great beauty at the foot of the Urbasa-Andia natural park.

You can begin the route at the Riezu campsite or in Riezu itself, where there is a parking area in the village square. The signposting guides you towards the river, which you cross via a bridge near the dam of an old mill. Beyond the gate, the landscape is very varied: pastures, holm oaks and wheat fields around the chapel of San Blas, and impressive holm oaks in the Erbioz ravine, offering spectacular views.

From the source of the river to Lezáun, the climb is gentle along a path surrounded by holm oaks and pine trees. One of the highlights of this trail is the Tibetan bridge over the Ubagua river, which allows you to cross even when the river is swollen. Finally, you reach Lezáun via the old washhouse path.
